Twainty

Privacy Policy

Effective 3 October 2026

Twainty doesn't collect any information about you.

What Twainty collects

Nothing. Twainty has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or crash reporting of its own, and sends nothing about you or your documents anywhere.

Your documents

Twainty reads and writes only the files and folders you open or choose. Its settings, and drafts of changes you haven't saved yet, are kept on your Mac in Twainty's own storage, and go nowhere else.

The internet

Twainty's editing features work offline. Your documents are not uploaded, and the app uses no external analytics, authentication, or AI services. Local images are rendered on your Mac. A link you choose to follow opens in your web browser, or in the app that handles it.

Reports from Apple

If you've chosen in macOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass on crash reports about Twainty. Those are Apple's to collect, under Apple's privacy policy; they're used only to fix what went wrong.

If you write to us

An email you send is used only to answer it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its effective date.
